Baltimore Ravens Wide Receiver LaQuan Williams to Host Charity Basketball Game June 30th!

Baltimore Ravens Wide Receiver LaQuan Williams is set to launch a charity basketball game to benefit his newly formed charity foundation, the LaQuan Williams Foundation (LWF), which provides various programming to adolescent and teenage youth in the Baltimore metropolitan area. The basketball game will be held in the Stevenson University Owings Mills gymnasium on June 30th with a 2:30 p.m. tip-off. Special guests include athletes Torrey Smith, Donte Green, Tyrod Taylor, Edgar Jones and more.

Born and raised in Baltimore, Williams has witnessed the many struggles that the area youth face and is looking forward to having his foundation be a major resource. “It’s important to provide our youth with programs to help them overcome the temptations of everyday life and show them that there is help in achieving their success,” says Williams. “My goal is to make a change that is beyond just football.”
