In 2012, A-Life Foundation is committed to changing the course of HIV/AIDS, one black life at a time! Who better to do it than us? What better time to do it than now? Today, FEBRUARY 7, 2012 is National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. Let’s get educated, get tested, get involved, and get treated. Those we have lost are looking down on us hoping we do the right thing for generations yet to come.
Join A-Life Foundation and Skateland Orchard as we “SKATE FOR CHANGE” on February 7, 2012 from 7pm-10pm. We are encouraging everyone to come out, wear RED, and enjoy a night of fun and awareness. You can skate ALL NIGHT for $3 plus a skate rental fee. In addition, anyone who donates $5 or more between now and February 7th will be automatically entered to win our drawing for free dinner and a movie for two. Bring your mother, father, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, cousin, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Wear something RED and dare to show others that you’re raising HIV/AIDS awareness to SAVE A LIFE. Remember, it could be your own.
Are you in the Baltimore, MD area? If so make sure you support this great event tonight, be sure to tell them BCG sent you!
