Location Last Seen: Her mother dropped her off at a friend’s house to spend the night Friday.

Circumstances of Disappearance: Police said that they believed McBroom’s disappearance could have started as a runaway situation. McBroom’s mother, Bridgette Lucas, said that her daughter’s friend told her that McBroom left with a man in a car. Lucas said that she received a call from her daughter on 4/1/12. “She sounded afraid” said Lucas. Lucas said that she then received frightening text messages about her daughter. “The next thing I receive was texts to my phone from her phone basically telling me she had been harmed,” Lucas said. “(They said) that somebody put her in a car. The story changed a couple of times. That they had dropped her off, that they were sorry.”
