BCG NY Intern- Amanda Wilson
BCG had the wonderful opportunity to meet up with a motivated young man, Jade Daniels, the President of Change Tomorrow Today, Inc. a not-for-profit organization that aims to help the disadvantaged youth of Brooklyn, New York. He has a strong background in community outreach, working with projects like New York Cares which mobilizes individuals to volunteer around New York City, and Legacy Group, that teaches financial literacy to Brooklyn high
school students.
Change Tomorrow Today (CTT) goal to encourage, promote and instill a sense of value, pride and morality within our communities. CTT emphasizes the importance of our youth by placing them at the forefront of serving the community, which reinforces respect across the generations within our society. Last weekend, on the 12th of November, CTT had their first annual Bowl For Change. Its was their biggest fund-raising venture so far. The goal was for it to be a meeting of people who are currently giving back and those who are interested in doing so, as well as an enjoyable time for everyone.
“We must come together, unifying our strengths and put our talents to use to benefit our communities. Too many of my peers, young men and women of NYC, have given up on their dreams, settling for mediocrity. CTT is here to show individuals that no matter what you’ve been through there is a way out; hard work and perseverance is needed.” ~ Jade Daniels, Founder of Change Tomorrow, Today.
Great article and really nice to see someone stand for change.
