BCG Speed Mentoring Event with OPPORTUNITIES PA for Homeless Youth! Join us October 11th in Philadelphia, PA!

Philly and surrounding areas here’s your chance to spend two hours changing and impacting the lives of others by serving as a mentor  to residents at the Youth Emergency Services ! This is a special invitation from BCG, OPPORTUNITIES PA and the Blues Babe Foundation to join us for a Speed Mentoring Event followed by a mixer we are throwing in your honor. Space for mentors will be limited to 15 people so please RSVP as soon as possible!

Speed Mentoring Agenda
6:00 PM-6:30 PM: Arrival / Set-up / Instruction on activities
6:30 PM-7:30 PM: Speed-Mentoring Game
7:30 PM: Wrap up, feedback/survey about experience
8:00 PM: Departure

Speed Mentoring Details
Expect for the event to be fun and rewarding. We will begin the event with our Speed Mentoring Game to encourage residents to engage in
conversation with all guest speakers, and then residents will have a list of questions to guide them.
For example residents may ask, what is your current profession?
What is the earning potential of your occupation?
Why did you choose your occupation?
How many years did you study in your education/training program?
Feel free to bring visual aids that characterize your profession. Our goal is to expose residents to
different professions and inspire residents to strive to reach their potential.

Philadelphia After-Event Mixer
BlackCelebrityGiving.com in partnership with OPPORTUNITIES-PA and the Blues Babe Foundation will host a mixer for all volunteers Buddakan Restaurant immediately following the event.
