St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® celebrated all things beautiful with St. Jude Spring into Beauty with Pat Sumpter. Hosted by the veteran celebrity hairstylist and beauty expert, St. Jude Spring into Beauty was a unique, fun, and exhilarating day of beauty and pampering for female patients.
Patients enjoyed mini-makeovers and manicures from Pat’s certified glam squad and a red carpet photo shoot. International beauty brand, SheaMoisture® was the official beauty sponsor for the day, providing facial care and bath and body products to help patients take a break from the pressures of treatment and be pampered.
The day capped off with a Grab n’ Glam Bar where patients stocked up on beauty goodies and gift bags. The gifting suite was sponsored by Curls For Girls®, Pat’s nonprofit organization which is dedicated to supporting and mentoring young girls throughout the country who are battling hair loss due to medical-related illnesses or other conditions.
“It really fills my heart to have given these girls a chance to get made up and to feel special. Even if it was just for a day, St. Jude Spring Into Beauty was an uplifting and memorable time for each girl to feel gorgeous and confident. And to know that no matter what, they are beautiful,” Pat said.
Pat has worked with some of Hollywood’s A-list stars, including Gayle King, Tamar Braxton, Nene Leakes, and Tamron Hall. St. Jude Spring Into Beauty with Pat Sumpter was held at the ALSAC Danny Thomas Pavilion located on the campus of St. Jude on Tuesday, June 14.
