CREATED4CHANGE was founded by two single mothers Rochelle Wilson and Raquel Masco looking to make a difference. Knowing first hand what single moms and women all over the world go through, they were unable to just stand back. They decided to take action. It began as buying Christmas presents for local school children of a single mom and preparing and delivering a Thanksgiving Dinner for a single mom and her family and later became a full fledged non-profit organization.
CREATED4CHANGE is committed to taking, and removing any stigma attached with single motherhood and empowering women to become all they were created to be. Believing that they are all created for change.
Created 4 Change exists to assist, inform, encourage, and empower these women. They do this through group support meetings, social outings, health education seminars/conferences, as well as tutoring, finding community resources, and being a resource. Their budgeting and parenting workshops also help alleviate common stressors.
