Our Vision
To empower girls from the inside-out. We envision girls celebrating their femininity. We envision girls at the conclusion of each program level possessing the understanding, wisdom and knowledge to live life on purpose. We envision girls better equipped to make good, sound decisions to accomplish all that they purpose to do. We envision girls developing a plan and taking action, not allowing their race, gender, community, or financial status to limit their potential.

Our Mission
Our mission is to inspire girls from all walks of life to discover who they are, to connect with other like minded girls and to pursue their purpose with passion. We are all about one thing – PURPOSE and we’re experts at it.

Our Programs

Purpose is something each of us were born with but sadly too few of us truly embrace and fulfill it. So here at GLLOP we have made it our business to help as many teen girls as we can find, embrace and fulfill their divine purpose. We are proud to say that we have impacted the lives of over 500 girls since we opened our doors in 2005. How do we do it? Glad you asked…

Purpose Girl Mentor-Coach Program
In Dallas County between 1992-2002 there was an 54% increase in female for violent felony offenses. During the same period, misdemeanor assaults increased 183%. Though this number is on the decline today it is not declining fast enough. There is still much to be done and we need your help. Through an innovative partnership with the Dallas County Juvenile Department (DCJD), Girls Living Life On Purpose, Inc (GLLOP) has the opportunity to reach out and mentor girls ages 12 to 17 of Dallas County who are being adjudicated through the DCJD. These girls have many challenges, but mostly they just need someone positive in their life. Mentors can help by offering support, a listening ear and heart, reinforcement and accountability. Most are from low-income, single-parent families. Mentoring relationship begins while the girl is in the custody of the juvenile department and will continue once they are released.
