Charity Spotlight: House Of Miracles, Inc.

House of Miracles, Inc. (HOMI) is a for adult men in the early stages of recovery from drugs and alcohol and who are interested in living a clean and sober life. HOMI provides the resources and tools to help the addicts and alcoholics stay on the course of sobriety.The environment offered at HOMI will help these men transition and rebuild their life which is a necessary component to being a productive citizen within the community.

House of Miracles, Inc. (HOMI) has been a 501© (3) nonprofit organization since November 2001. This facility is a subsidiary of HOMI and has opened its doors as “Peaceful Living House.” The mission is and still continues to be based on a 12 step program that is modeled after the recovery program of Alcoholics Anonymous which has proven to be effective for over 65 years. HOMI main purpose is to successfully integrate these men back into society so they can again position themselves in the community to not only help themselves and their families but to also help others that have gone down their similar paths. Our goal is to be of service to those in need of support in the interest of the community at-large and the greater good. Drug and alcohol addiction is not only a family problem but a community problem as well.
