Charity Spotlight: I.M.P.A.C.T.

Mission Statement

I.M.P.A.C.T. is the passion, care and concern that emanate from within to equip our youth with the necessary tools to navigate through the middle school, high school and college years. We aim to provide skills to address the “How to” processes of life; allowing youth to gain exposure to people, places and things outside of their cultural norm. In hopes to create a well-balanced approach in life, I.M.P.A.C.T. mentors youth in life skills, confidence building and etiquette, team work through sports, talent building, discipline and conflict resolution, peer mediation and self empowerment.

He was born to do this – Born to I.M.P.A.C.T.

Mrs. Lewis is a native of Wilmington, Delaware where she attended Delcastle High School. Her drive and passion for steering young girls in the right direction comes from overcoming a past dealing with low self-esteem issues. I.M.P.A.C.T started with her growing up and attending the community centers on the west side of Wilmington. Mrs. Lewis is dedicated to mentoring young girls on how to triumph over self-esteem and fear issues and learning to cope with growing up with an absentee father. She is passionate about teaching young ladies how to overcome self-image insecurities and to love the body they are in – promoting healthy life choices and positive self-awareness. “I want to see young girls shine as the queens that they are – they are royalty.”
