I Think I Am Foundation is a Warner Robins, Georgia based 501c3 non-profit organization that focuses on children that have been placed in the foster care system and or adopted. I Think I Am Foundation is making a global impact within communities one child and parent at a time. After serving on the board to numerous non-profit organizations Deanna Moore founded I Think I Am Foundation in November of 2011 and it has been on the rise since. She noticed a tremendous gap that needed to be bridged between children’s actions and their belief patterns. All their programs are deeply rooted in the community and help children get out their own on way on the journey to success. They will be launching their first fundraising efforts with a Celebrity Midday Soirée on June 2, 2012 in Warner Robins, Georgia from 1-5pm.
Celebrity Midday Soirée will have live entertainment (Khicks urban ball- room dance group, DJ Party-Man), food, giveaways, and a silent auction. Kyle Moore (Buffalo Bills defensive end) and several teammates will at- tend. Felicia Young, mother of Vince Young (Philadelphia Eagles quarterback), will sign copies of her book, Touchdown From Heaven. Lucille O’Neal, mother of Shaquille O’Neal (retired NBA star) will be on hand to sign copies of her book, Walk Like You Have Somewhere To Go, for the first 50 purchasers of VIP tickets! Other NFL and NBA players, members of the Professional Football Players Mothers Association, and members of Mothers of Professional Basketball Players Association are also slated to attend!
The Celebrity Midday Soirée is designed to raise awareness of the mental and emotional challenges often faced by families of children who are given up for adoption, placed in foster care or in other at-risk situations, and to share information on the programs and support that ITIA provides to ad- dress these areas.
All proceeds of the Celebrity Midday Soirée go towards programs that:
• Promote the importance of maintaining positive thinking and beliefs.
• Foster sustainable training initiatives that require participants to unleash the unlimited potential and power contained in their words and locked in their thoughts.
• Challenge participants to apply themselves to create what eventually they will become and/or achieve.
I Think I Am Foundation is a life long dream that Deanna Moore, founder and president, has had to help children like herself, who are given up for adoption or placed in foster care to realize their un- limited potential despite their beginning. She is an avid believer that you are what you think and her desire is to help these young people and their families to develop positive belief patterns so that they can be successful in school, relationships, sports, and other activities.
