Legion of Educated Gentlemen Advancing and Challenging Youth, Inc.
Mission: To academically and politically empower youth by engaging in active and voluntary mentorship, tutoring, and service. By promoting early scholarship in math and sciences, as well as the arts, LEGACY, Inc. also seeks to expand the academic horizons of the communities it serves, and cultivate successive volunteer membership.
What They Do: The Legion of Educated Gentlemen Advancing and Challenging Youth, Inc provides positive male mentors and tutors to minority and at-risk youth in the DC Metro area. They also provide male volunteers to organizations that support the academic, political, and social enrichment of young men and women.
