Polished Girlz was founded by 11 yo Alanna Wall. Since it’s inception the organization has served hundreds of girls with special needs or frequent hospitalizations. Alanna’s mission for the Polished Girlz Organization is to promote peer to peer support of children with special needs by polishing their nails while teaching them about hand-washing safety and how hand washing saves lives and reduces their infection rates.
The Polished Girlz youth volunteers serve children that are hospitalized, The Down Syndrome Association, the Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as private client referrals. Polished Girlz was recently awarded the “Do Something Seed Grant Award” and the “United Way Volunteers of the Month Award” and landed a new partnership with Orly Beauty.
This young inspirational child and her volunteers are creating a culture of service in her community!
