Diamond’s Love Foundation is an non-profit organization which provides support to community-based organizations that promote child safety programs through education, physical and mental health, fitness and nutrition and improves the quality of life for the community. The organization was established by boxing legend Sugar Shane Mosley and his family in remembrance of his late nephew Diamond Johnson who died in a car accident because he was not in a car seat. The foundation promotes awareness of child car safety and provides much-needed assistance to underserved communities throughout the United States
The Diamond’s Love Foundation’s philosophy is to uplift and motivate the community by giving them the right tools that are necessary to improve their lives and those around them.
Goals of Foundation
- Implement a Child Car Seat Safety Campaign
- Establish programs that assist Single Fathers raising their children in a safe and secure environment
- Implement a Youth Summer Boxing Camp Nationwide
- Establish affordable housing for the community
- Establish a Youth Center for At Risk children
- Assist existing faith based youth programs
- Implement training programs/seminars for the community focusing on child safety
Programs
- Diamond’s Love Foundation Provides Education, Physical and Mental Health, Fitness and Nutrition, and Improved Social Quality of Life Programs for the Community.
- Mosley’s Pomona Boxing Club Opportunities for personal growth and development of youth athletes while reinforcing positive influences, self-confidence, self-esteem and the ability to excel on and out the ring. Participants will also learn the importance of eating healthy and the nutritional value of food.
- Yolanda Austin’s Diamonds R4U2 A program that helps local High School Cal Safe Programs that assist expectant mothers and fathers stay in school while taking an active role in the care and supervision of their children.
- Jack Mosley’s At-Risk Youth Center Adolescent and youth programs which specialize in helping troubled and defiant teens overcome their behavioral and emotional problems. Offering tutoring and mentorship to participants of the community.
