WOMEN DIVINE is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization established to respond to the alarming rise in high school drop out rates across the City of Chicago, IL. A phenomenal group of women have came together to strategically plan to increase the attendance rates of young women in high school and promote the importance of becoming a college graduate. Their programs serve as caring, inclusive learning environments that promote a young woman’s best interest and reinforces personal respect.
The organization hosts activities that serve as a powerful platform for positive peer reinforcement. WOMEN DIVINE believes they will enhance students’ overall well-being by engaging the community in making high scholastic achievement, professional development, financial literacy, and cultural arts awareness a priority. In addition, each program offered by WOMEN DIVINE will enlighten young women about the possibility of attending an institution of higher learning, specifically a college or university.
The organization has designed four distinct mentoring programs that will enhance the lives of young women.
The programs are divided into four main categories: academic enhancement, leadership development, financial literacy and cultural enrichment. Mentoring and support programs are available to young women enrolled in grades 9th –- 12th. WOMEN DIVINE is looking forward to forming partnerships with local school districts and other similar organizations that support the mission and vision. The ultimate goal is to foster a commitment to young women that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills and reassert a sense of hope in the future.

Commitment ~ Inspire pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills and instill a sense of hope in the future. Support~ Surround young women in a caring, inclusive learning environment. Possibility~Expand the perspective of young women to make them aware of life’s possibilities. To educate, inspire and empower young women to strive for excellence in all areas of their lives.
