“It is better to give while your hands are still warm!”
Taken from the Yes We Care, Inc. organization’s website, this piece of advice was provided by President Paul “Sequence” Ferguson who knows all too well about giving back in a big way! Yes We Care, Inc. is an organization dedicated to providing a better way of life for veterans who have made their way back home after putting their lives on the line for our country.
As a veteran himself, President Ferguson not only defended our country on the front lines, but he was also diagnosed with cancer upon arriving back to the states. He recognizes the thousands of veterans who often return home to no family, wounded, and with frail bodies plagued with cancer. As a long time musician, trained by many of the industry’s best like Isaac Hayes, Ferguson often performs with his guitar and keyboard for the patients at the Northern VA Hospital where is is also treated for prostate cancer which he suspects was contracted in a bio-chemical lab during his service. It warms the hearts of the patients to be able to enjoy the musical stylings of Ferguson as well as a moment to forget their ailments and illnesses.
Yes We Can, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) organization that accepts donations for the purpose of protecting the quality of life for veterans and for the elimination of all cancers. A portion of all contributions are given to veterans who have found homes on the streets and to those who are residents of the VA hospitals.
