Los Angeles Clipper, and 7-time NBA All Star, Chris Paul hosted the CP3 Foundation’s Celebrity Server Dinner fundraiser last night at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills, which was presented by Apollo Jets. The fundraiser honored Los Angeles based organizations L.A.’s BEST and Leaps n Boundz for their work with the children in Los Angeles County.
Television journalist Kevin Frazier emceed the festivities and celebrities including Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Glen “Big Baby” Davis (Los Angeles Clippers), Brent Barry, Baron Davis, Justin Turner (Los Angeles Dodgers) and Jalen Rose, joined Paul as celebrity servers, while Laila Ali served as maitre’d for the evening. Matthew DiMaria, who was the winner of Chideo’s Chris Paul Celebrity Server VIP Experience Sweepstakes, also joined Paul as a server. In addition the evening featured a performance by violinist Lee England.
Paul and Frazier conducted a live auction, supported by the comedic talents of Griffin, Jordan and Davis, which included an NBA All Star Extravaganza package, a game of horse with Paul and the opportunity to have Paul act as “principal for a day” at the school of the winner’s child. Westime luxury timepieces donated two Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver watches with a retail value of $19,000 each, which were raffled off at the dinner. President & CEO Carla Sanger, spoke on behalf of L.A.’s BEST, and Co-Owners/Founders Joclynn Benjamin and Eric Amundson, spoke on behalf Leaps n Boundz.

Their program is currently offered in 195 schools.
