Since launching the site in July, the growth of the Black Celebrity Giving (BCG) community has been amazing! Friends, readers and followers from all over the world have reached out to us and we are all doing our part to give back. How amazing is that?!
When I was trying to create a description of this phenom of people who are devoted to giving back to the community. I knew that this savvy group of do-gooders was in a way is creating a paradigm shift in our communities, positive influence in the life’s of many. I saw a future where our communities are highlighted for their good and are empowering many to be better, do more and give back! The word was simple, possibly the first of the BCG Vocabulary,‘Change-Makers’!
In essence, we are creating social change. In honor of our new-found inspiration we will be highlighting ‘Change-Makers’ in our new category replacing the BCG Community Hero section.
