Janelle Monae is set to perform at the amfAR New York Gala on February 8, 2012 honoring those who have led the global struggle against HIV/AIDS. The black-tie benefit, which will be hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker,will raise money for AIDS research. The evening will feature a gala dinner, live auction, special performances, and honoree tributes. For this special occasion, Jean-Claude Biver and Hublot are pleased to announce the auction of the first timepiece 000/100 of the new Hublot amfAR collection engraved with the signature of amfAR Founding Chairman Dr. Mathilde Krim. The event is sponsored by luxury watch brand Hublot.
A black-tie benefit at Cipriani Wall Street, the amfAR New York Gala will honor individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the fight against AIDS and raise much needed funds for AIDS research. The gala, held on the eve of New York Fashion Week, will begin with cocktails, followed by dinner, a live auction of luxury items, and a special tribute to our honorees.

Since its inception in 1998, the amfAR New York Gala has become one of New York City’s most successful and high-profile AIDS benefits.
