Technology giant Samsung held their annual Hope for Children Charity Gala in New York at Cipriani Wall Street last night, and celebs including John Legend, Selita Eubanks, Jennifer Lopez, Estelle and more in attendance to help raise money for children in need.
According to early reports nearly 800 people attended and over $1.4 million was raised to support more than 30 charities and 400 schools that all focus on children’s education, sustainability, and healthcare.
Former president Bill Clinton was honored with the Samsung Hope For Children Ambassador Award on behalf of all his work with the William J. Clinton Foundation.
And musical highlights included John Legend and Jason Mraz taking the stage to sing their very own version of Bob Marley‘s anthem ‘Redemption Song. Black Celebrity Giving sends our Kudos to all the celebrities in attendance taking a stand for a wonderful cause.
