I always say that without a doubt I love my life, I get to truly create social change everyday and even better I get to honor others that do the same thing. I look at this as a blessing. As a way to pay homage to BCG’s home-base of Atlanta, last year I created the Giving is Good Awards to honor local Atlanta ChangeMakers. On Wednesday, June 25th, we hosted the second annual Giving Is Good Awards hosted by Centric TV’s Ramona Debreaux The event recognized foundations that have gone above and beyond in actively making a difference in their communities and and raised clothing for over 3,000 homeless youth. Special Guests Included: Keshia Knight Pulliam, Rashan Ali, Egypt Sherrod, Councilman Kwanza Hall, Tameka Raymond and many more. The event was an evening of love with local foundations and Atlanta do-gooders enjoying live music from Elevate the Quest, food and beverages at Suite Food Lounge and inspiration. Be sure to check out some of the photos below and for even more footage check out our hashtag #GivingIsGoodAwards on Instagram and Twitter. Thanks to everyone that came out and supported we are already looking forward to our 3rd Annual event.
