Atlanta police are searching for a missing teenager last seen in southwest Atlanta. Janese Carthon, 14, was reported missing by her family, according to Office John Chafee with Atlanta police. Carthon was last seen Saturday around 8 a.m. near McDaniel Street SW and Roy Street SW. Police say Carthon has a diminished mental capacity. She was last seen wearing a red shirt, blank pants, black shoes and a black pea coat, according to authorities. Carthon is 4’11” to 5′ tall, 127 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
