Operation Community Restore (OCR) in partnership with Rogue Media Group, LLC to Host Leaders 2012 Leaders in Philanthropy Cocktail Reception on Friday, November 16th, 2012!
OCR is a nonprofit organization, based out of Jacksonville, Florida. The agency’s focus is twofold. Dedicated to the eradication of homelessness and are equally committed to the preservation of family. Operation Community Restore aims to identify the ever changing genres of homelessness and their effect on our most precious commodity – OCR commits itself to enhancing the quality of life in the community, identifying alternatives to poverty, acknowledging the ever changing face of homelessness, assisting those persons affected, and preserving the family unit by finding transitional and permanent housing solutions.
The organization is super excited to announced that Operation Community Restore 2012 Leaders in Philanthropy honorees are the following:
Visionary Award: Mr. Shahid Khan, Owner, Jacksonville Jaguars
Corporate Award: Wells Fargo (Housing Donation Team)
Business Award: Sherry H. Blue, CEO at Make It Happen Bail Bonds, Inc.
The event will takes place on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the prestigious University Club in Jacksonville, Florida. This exceptional benefit event will attract professionals and business leaders from the Southeast region.
Most recently, OCR partnered with Black Enterprise, a national media outlet reaching 6.3 million professionals, entrepreneurs and public policy makers to promote the organization’s mission. The advertisement can be seen in the publication’s September and October issues.
