Reality Starlet Royce Reed of Basketball Wives Gives Back to Girls Through Dance!

“Some people live and dance whenever they can. Me? I live to dance,” says Reed. Royce Reed has launched Fantashique Apprentice, a new division of her own non-profit organization Artistic Dreams, geared to uplift and empower young ladies through the artistic expression of dance and encourage them to excel in all aspects of life. This weekend Fantashique Apprentice will be showcasing their Spring Concert. Artistic Dreams’ mission is to provide alternatives to kids ages 5-17 who would like to participate in sports, dance, or another division of the Arts but would otherwise be unable to do to monetary or recreational resources. Artistic Dreams fills the gaps by stepping up to the plate to make sure that finances are never a reason a dream can’t be fulfilled by providing activities, mentoring, training, and scholarships.  Fantashique Apprentice will hold an audition for the company in June and host  a  two week dance camp in July. Royce Reed has truly turned her passion into a movement to help girls in her community and created an outlet for young girls through the arts.

Royce Reed, FAMU graduate, professional athlete, author of College Girls, model, actress, New York State proclamation recipient, & humanitarian has also been recognized for her steadfast efforts and dedicated involvement in varies charities, which include NOH8 Campaign, Melky Jean’s Carma Foundation, Alonzo Mourning’s Overtown Youth Foundation, Preserve Our Legacy, Duffy’s Hope, and various others.
We salute Miss Royce Reed for giving back and supporting youth through the arts!

    What a wonderful performance. You can see the creativity and hard work that went into the numbers. It is nice that the girls had different size shapes but were able to work well into the dance numbers and show such confidence and excitment. Keep of the great work in working with these young girls.
