Can you believe that Rosa Parks would have been 100 years old this year? At last night’s 44th NAACP Image Awards, top celebs like Samuel L. Jackson and LL Cool J previewed the Rosa Parks Forever Stamp, which will be issued by the U.S. Postal Service on Monday, Feb. 4, on what would have been her 100th birthday. The stamp was on display at the U.S. Postal Service Civil Rights Series Stamp Gallery, which also featured the Emancipation Proclamation Stamp that was launched last month.
Many guests of honor had their photos taken with the stamps, including “Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture” winner Samuel L. Jackson, 44th NAACP Image Awards host Steve Harvey and Outstanding Supporting Actress Nominee Gloria Reuben.
