The 13th Annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration Announces Gary Brackett’s IMPACT Foundation as its Official Charitable Partner.

The Super Bowl Gospel Celebration (SBGC) recently announced Gary Brackett’s IMPACT Foundation as its official charitable partner for its 2012 event. The announcement was recently made after an extensive review process of several applications submitted by various Indianapolis non-profit organizations.

“We are very pleased to be selected as the charitable partner of the 2012 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration,” said Brackett, founder of Gary Brackett’s IMPACT Foundation and veteran middle linebacker with the Indianapolis Colts. “Both of our organizations are about empowerment, encouragement and inspiration, and it’s great that we can come together to help each other meet our goals during one of the most celebrated weekends in our country.”

Gary Brackett’s IMPACT Foundation creates unique experiences and educational enrichment opportunities for underserved, special needs and seriously ill children. In 2009, Brackett was the 11th annual recipient of the Arthur S. Arkush Humanitarian Award, presented to an NFL player “whose contributions to the community and charitable organizations are especially outstanding.” Brackett won the award for his work with the IMPACT Foundation.

The Foundation and SBGC partnership is designed to raise awareness and financial support for the organization, and allow selected Indianapolis youth to enjoy a part of Super Bowl XLVI Weekend activities. For each ticket purchased for the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration, $3.00 will go to Gary Brackett’s IMPACT Foundation.

“We are looking forward to working with Gary Brackett’s IMPACT Foundation and a great partnership that will play to the strengths of both of our organizations,” said Melanie Few-Harrison, president of Results Marketing & Media Inc. and founder and executive producer of the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration. “This is a win-win for us and the Indianapolis community.”

Since its inception in 1999, the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration has partnered with a charity in each Super Bowl host city, and has donated more than $400,000 and more than 5,000 tickets.

Super Bowl Gospel Celebration, named by USA Today as “One of the Best Super Bowl Events to Attend,” comes to Indianapolis on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at Clowes Memorial
Hall of Butler University. The star-studded line-up includes Wayne Brady as host, CeCe Winans as co-host and performances by Natalie Grant, Donnie McClurkin, Hezekiah Walker and Wess Morgan, the NFL Choir and Salvation and Deliverance Church Choir, Verizon’s How Sweet the Sound 2011 Overall Winning Choir.
