The Grand Giving Tree is a Facebook application that allows users to trim a holiday tree with one of three ornaments that each represent a great non-profit organization — World Wildlife Fund, WaterAid America and Cool Earth. The group with the most ornaments on December 31st will receive $10,000, the other two groups will get $2,500 each. These are all very deserving charities, partnering with Grand Marnier on The Grand Giving Tree will ensure they all raise money for their causes. In addition, one lucky tree trimmer will receive $1000 to continuing spreading the good cheer to their friends and family. This is a fantastic way to engage an audience of millions and encourage them to embrace the spirit of the holiday.
