TheBlackManCan.org to Host Black Man Can Institute at Tri-Cities High School in Atlanta, GA

Twenty-five year old Brandon Frame of Hartford’s High School Inc., and founder of TheBlackManCan.org has pledged to support at least 500 young black males in four major markets by the end of the year providing a one-day mentoring program through TheBlackManCan Institute. Since September, TheBlackManCan Institute has visited Baltimore, Yale University’s Afro-American Culture Center, mentoring nearly 200 young boys of color and headed to both Atlanta and New York.  On Saturday, November 9th beginning at 8amTri-Cities High School in Eastpoint will be the host for up to 100 young  boys of color who will be uplifted, empowered, educated and motivated to reach their goals with several local notable leaders scheduled to speak. A graduate of Morehouse College and classmate of Frame,Chadrick “Chad” Mance, Esq will serve as the keynote. Mance was recently sworn in as the second practicing African-American attorney in Stephens County, GA and is a founding partner at Nash and Mance, LLP.

Boys of Color attending TheBlackManCan Institute can be assured that their cultural needs will be addressed and they will be free to express themselves while fostering brotherhood. Powerful workshops and keynote speakers will empower and educate young men in attendance on such topics as: math and music, financial literacy, media literacy, dealing with the police, getting politically engaged and many more. All young men attending the Institute will receive a copy of Brandon’s debut title, Define Yourself, Redefine the World: A Guided Journal for Black Boys and Men (http://theblackmancan.org/), which is being used as a therapeutic starting point for empowerment, self-love, and forward progress for young males across the country.

Brandon Frame is a notable author, scholar, educator and newsmaker who was just named one of Hartford’s “40 Under 40”, has always felt compelled to give-back, something instilled in him while attending the prestigious Morehouse College in Atlanta.  Brandon shares, “I want TheBlackManCan Institute to touch the lives of boys and men around the world. My hope for the work I do is to be more successful in combating the negative images of Black men and boys with which we’re bombarded on a daily basis.”
