Girls, Girls, Girls! If you pay close attention you will see that the number of nonprofits addressing the needs of girls, is rapidly growing and for good reason. Our girls are facing so much each day and everyday it seems like it’s something new, battling cyber bullying, self-image and self-esteem and teen pregnancy. Meet today’s spotlighted charity, Ur DreamGirls Inc. is a direct response to the rapid rate of teen pregnancy as well as teen drug use in heavily populated areas. The program’s intentions are to build character and provide positive experiences, while providing or maintaining a family support system. The focus is slightly different at each age level but the goal remains the same; empower young females to make positive changes and/or choices in her life.
Ur DreamGirls Inc. Mission– Providing a positive outlet for teenage girls between the ages of 13-18 by exposing them to different life outcomes by utilizing community members who are able to relate to the positive and negative experiences of growing up. This program will be geared towards drug and sex education and prevention as well as Self Awareness.
Ur DreamGirls Inc. Goal- To educate, motivate, and curve the lives and minds of the young ladies while increasing the rate of empowered high school female graduates.
