Women Still Standing (WSS) is a foundation devoted to nourishing, educating, and inspiring African-American women – challenging them to know better and do better mentally, physically, financially, and spiritually. The foundation offers professional workshops, webinars, networking events, business seminars, fundraisers, community services and social galas. The network is developed for women to create their own tailored professional circles, blog, share ideas, and contribute to a refreshing sisterly community.
Women Still Standing exists to educate and empower Black women in matters relating to entrepreneurial development, health and wellness advocacy. WSS specifically bring awareness to depression, domestic violence prevention, and relationship intelligence. The organization achieves these goals by forming strategic relationships with key leaders, groups, and corporations to offer quality activities and resources that challenge women to know better, do better, be better, and live better!
WSS hosts its workshops and social functions by providing virtual and in-person resources and occasions for what women need to thrive and create quality lives for themselves and their families. The ever-present themes WSS raise are of love, respect, dignity, education, purpose, support and recognition. The foundation provides relevant information and effective tools to help women leverage their existing talents and foster sustainable collaborations to acquire additional skills and resources to further their personal and professional goals.
