So often Domestic Violence Awareness month is overshadowed by Breast Cancer Awareness, both of huge importance but let’s not forget to wear our purple and raise awareness for domestic violence too. Violence Against Women & Children Can “END” with you! Have you ever witnessed abuse? Have you been the victim of abuse? Are you a survivor of domestic violence? Do you know anyone who is an abuser? If you answered YES to any one of these questions then the Women With A Vision Foundation, Inc. an organization you support on Saturday, November 1st in Atlanta.
The Women With A Vision Foundation, Inc. has partnered with Northside Hospital to host their annual fundraiser “Love Doesn’t Hurt” a theatrical production on November 1, 2014 at Saint Mark United Methodist Church. This play will feature 4 profound acts of untold stories that will set so many free and educate others on the severe effects of domestic violence & substance abuse. Northside’s medical staff will provide educational and preventative information on mental health as it relates to the monologues which will depict forms of domestic violence & substance abuse. The ‘Love Doesn’t Hurt’ production will include a celebrity host, honoree, & a variety of amazing entertainment.
